Wet autumn leaves, camphor, Amaro, root beer, licorice, menthol, truffle, dried flowers, tar. The non-fruits alone are incredibly complex. Muddled cherry and red plum. So many woodsy notes on all fronts. The VA was right at my limit, a touch pushy and beginning to muddle character especially with more aeration.

Excellent nebbiolo from the slopes of Valtellina: delicate small red fruits and a hint of sweet tobacco and cinnamon. Fresh and long lasting at the palate, a perfect match with my "cotoletta alla Milanese"
