This Chianti includes just a touch (5% each) of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Dusty earth, purple flowers and dark cherry aromas fill the nose. Lighter cherry, cigar tobacco, dark chocolate and tar on the pallet. Hint of baking spices on the finish. Incredibly smooth texture. Solid acidity. Full bodied. Totally rustic in style. All about the Tertiary aromas and flavors with this wine. Settling in with age.

Excellent. Paired with homemade lasagna. Elegant but easy to drink. Floral up front with baking spices, cherries, tobacco and chocolate.

Absolutely lovely Chianti. Well rounded, medium bodied, with a little acidic finish. Tannins of dried fruits- slightly sweeter.
