Medium to full bodied. Higher acidity, especially on nose. Tannins of blackberries, currants , cheese and vanilla. Paired nicely with a penne with crab apple and Québec cheese. — 6 years ago
Very good wine. Strong bouquet (oak) and evident tannins on the tongue of cherries, coffee and raspberries. Mild to medium acidity. Paired nicely as a stark contrast to a lasagna. Allow to breathe a bit. — 6 years ago
Interesting.. I thought this to be a higher acidic wine, slightly vinegary, with tannins of red fruit, vanilla and licorice and potential balsamic. Allow to breathe- suggest decanting. — 6 years ago
