Enjoyed with dinner on the last night in Florence. Nothing crazy to write home about, and definitely a young wine that needs a healthy decant. Dark fruits and some barrel tannin seem to be at the forefront of this wine.

Great accompaniment to gnocchi with meat sauce. Deep nose of dark cherry, old barrel scents, savory minerality, deep stony gravel. Mouthfilling savory flavors, with some cherry syrup notes, but tons of stony minerality. Vigorous acids and tannins keep it very athletic feeling in the mouth. Full bodied. Finish is dark and long.

Very fruity with a hint of barn that wears off after a couple of minute. Strawberry, cherry, raspberry. Tannins are a bit harsh yet

15.5/20 (89/100)

Сушеная черника, черемуха. Не пышно, не богато. Замша. Плотные танины, хорошая фруктовая насыщенность, чай, горчинка.

Driving nicely; fruit is plush, long, and studded with vanilla bean, with silky tannins. Despite its opulence, when paired with food, it performs with vigor, revealing leather and anise on the palette.

Great balance of age and fruit. Bright yet sophisticated. Bold and beautiful. Viva Italia 🍷

Primarily Sangiovese with some Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blended in. Dark ruby color with a slight brick rim. Extremely savory aromas of forest floor, wet soil, violets and wild herbs. The palate features mushroom, black cherry/raspberry/plum jam, coffee, dark chocolate and baking spices. A nutty note on the long and persistent finish. Well rounded tannins and medium-plus bodied. Quite leafy and earthy. Fruit is deep in the background. Needs a long decant. Thanking Weston and Beckki for sharing this bottle. Revisited in April 2024. Quite savory.
