2016 (out of half bottle 375ml) love this appellation great intensity black fruits , currants , almost seems saigneed oak background wow the alcohol is not shy 15.3 abv too over the top for me but can see it’s appeal

If you have the opportunity to skimp and not get a magnum, don’t. Always get the magnum.
This isn’t ready to drink, not even close. We decanted for an hour and then swirled and swirled to get it right. When we did, it opened up nicely with blueberry and coffee, some blackberry and earth. Strong, chewy tannins, but not unenjoyably so.
I’ll be thinking about this big guy for a long time.

Just a baby…but powerful and bold….great mountain fruit…decanted but wasnt enough…could age for a very long time…

Just as good as I remember it. Howell Mountain is definitely somewhere special. You get that great sense of mineral character and it’s oh so rich!

Velvety and seamless fruit follow a rich and brambly nose of black currant and light vanilla. Cade just keep upping their game. Outstanding.
