Falling a little flat. Doesn’t have the high toned red cherry and spice notes. Lower acid and tannins make for easy drinking now. More akin to Langhe Nebbiolo then single vineyard Barbaresco.

In such a perfect place. All red fruits, cherry, cherry pit, wild almond. Very well balanced and poised,el elegant in texture.

Unripe mulberry and hints of chive this nose has.
pomegranate fruit, seed and all, raspberry, hints of tarragon and cherry wood.
Bold and smack your face tannins, with jolly rancher acidity.

Ripe, sweet cherry, hazelnut, cookie dough, brash oak interrupts the succulent ness of this wine, a big chomping cigar box tannins, with a hint of Alexander the Grape acidity..
Interesting, would like less wood on this.

May 22nd, 2016Young, lighter style barbaresco ... Cherries and underripe plums, cola and cardamom with some mild tar notes - this is fantastic and will turn newbies to Piedmont into this region. Would be great w flank steak.
