2014, but going strong! Very floral with daisy, carnation, orange blossom, suede, and yellow, heirloom tomato aromas that hover full and round. Medium mouthfeel that gets ripe strawberry before gracefully bowing out to bright lemon lime, this sings like a Moulin-A-Vent surprisingly, it is heavier than a Bandol or Tavel but it is a worthwhile wine paired with salmon, portabello and scallops in cream. Not your average “Rose”, Malbec-based, full bodied, rich, strong tannins, paired beautifully with a delicate beef tartare. Because of its depth, definitely better with food than on its own
