2014, but going strong! Very floral with daisy, carnation, orange blossom, suede, and yellow, heirloom tomato aromas that hover full and round. Medium mouthfeel that gets ripe strawberry before gracefully bowing out to bright lemon lime, this sings like a Moulin-A-Vent surprisingly, it is heavier than a Bandol or Tavel but it is a worthwhile wine paired with salmon, portabello and scallops in cream. 2012 Andremily Syrah No. 1 - in his first release winemaker Jim Binns (of SQN fame) crushed it. This is a blend of 93% Syrah, 5% Viognier and 2% Mourvedre, After a 2.5 hour decant, the aroma was of very sweet blackberry, ripe plums, burnt embers, and a faint hint of lilacs. This wine is very well integrated and the legs in the glass go on like Elle McPherson's. Huge hints of creamy vanilla oak finish that lasts for nearly 30 seconds at the finish.
