En Remilly Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

I liked this a little more than the Boudriotte. More florals

First bottle was premoxed and this bottle was flat. Lacked acid and the roundness of the 2014. Maybe closed down?

Textured, rich with a finish that's wrapped up in 13s acidity. Delicious and even better on day 2

Lemon custard. Nutmeg. Butterscotch.

Lots of new oak and wood aromas, lemon custard, baked yellow apple, minerals, vanilla. Shows richness and weight. Def more modern/polished style that might not be classic but still enjoyable

Sleek, mineral, almost watery (salivating acidity) and a huge reduced Sulphur nose

Some oxi-notes

Notes from day 2 open. Some slight oxidation, but still very drinkable. On the nose: lemon, lemon curd, bruised apple, mint leaf. On the palate: ok acidity, but leaning flatter than I would like; big-boned and dense; richly styled with meyer lemon, tangerine, vanilla , cream. Solid finish.
