Broc Cellars
Vine Starr Central Coast Grenache Blanc

Where is the label as in this dark restaurant it looks blank. Oh wait, there in the right corner... wine has lovely aromatics of oyster shell and butter lobster. Pallet is not as nice with saline notes, fat, and a short finish. Huh. Not sure what to think.

Rolly polly silky. Enough body to make Chardonnay drinkers happy but without the butter.

Captured my attention immediately. Peach, nectarine, lemon zest, herbal (maybe basil or oregano) & light note of pepper. Zippy acid, only slightly oily and good mouthfeel with long finish. Balanced!

A round and rich Grenache blanc. Less linear than past vintages with notes of white flowers, ginger, and ripe pear. Hint of lime on the finish. Nice concentration.
