The nose on it is very Napa, even a touch jammy, but the palate is a sultry smoke show of black cherries, tart raspberries, a touch of eucalyptus and soft, sticky tannins.

Nice wine. Big Cali fruit, balanced, definitely not medium bodied, nice acid, put it away. Nice spice profile and straight forward. With Beef Brisket for the new year 5776

To the nose: really jammy reds. Strawberry, cherry. Light body. But got a nice zip to it. Almost extinct varietal. No longer in existence in France. Only in Napa. Fun quirky wine. Try it with a pulled pork or some BBQ. Got similar qualities of a Zinfandel. It's got some age on it. Ready to drink now!

First time I've had a charbono. I had good fruit and balance; good all by itself. Reminded me of another wine, but I couldn't place it. Have to get another to figure it out
