Blend of 55% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, light creamy mousse with tiny bubbles, pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple and peach with citrus zest, honeysuckle and slight nuttiness. Lively acidity with good balance, medium+ finish ending with fruit and biscuit notes.

Nose has white bread, lemon peel, cold yellow apple slice, raw peanuts with a faint sweet note.
Palate has buttered apple slice, lightly toasted bread, lemon zest and warm Asian pear. Finish is medium length, but lacking a bit of acidity, for my tastes.

Not much flavor,
but also, no off flavors. Tastes just as Champagne should: dry and bubbly. There’s not much more to it than the dry and bubbly flavor, but most Champagne priced at $40 has serious defects that are not present here. Disgorged December 2016. An excellent value choice.
