Awkward spot at the moment. Revisit in 5 years. Tobacco, dried cherry, dried herbs.

Very pure and grippy. Deep fruit and intensity. Blue fruit and dark plum. Impressive, but a bit blocky right now.

Drunk with the delicious mixed grill at Havana Parilla in Bar Harbor Maine. A Spanish wine list not to be missed if you are a fan.
Dark ruby color. Wonderfully integrated aromas of ripe fruits, leather, savory herbs and sweet oak. Polished texture that was as enjoyable without food as with.

Toasty, lush, virile and opulent. Manages to retain some acidity despite the hot vintage, but overall I found this far too young to enjoy thoroughly. The oak is rather dominant.

Dark red cherries, tobacco. A little extracted and rough on the palate. Alcohol spikes make this a small chore to get down.
