Good #Tempranillo character, in a style that is classic with a little trace of oak and some pleasant fruit, with subtle spice and tobacco. Good acidity too.

Haven't had this in several years and gotta say it impressed me! Nose is all creamy caramel, vanilla, bright strawberry and cherry in the forefront. Damn good.

Very delicious! Medium bodied with a distinct nose of meat. Dry and tannic. Great for steak night.

Very fruit forward but I find it lacks structure. Would go nice with a light pasta dish or just to drink on it's own.

Smells a bit barnyard.... but tastes pretty good.

Plush with smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Finishes with some spice and oak but smothers with strawberry jam. Really lost its identity this vintage; regretting I didn't purchase a case of the 09 when I had the chance.

At first whiff we have big dark fruit, blackberry, black plum, and hints of licorice. On the palate we have smooth dark fruit, a little lighter than I like. Smooth tannins that blend well with soft oak and cassis. Not a bad wine at all.

Exceptionally supple and polished for a young Rioja. Impeccable mouth feel of a great Pinot noir. Mostly flavors of cherry, leather and oak. Lacks in depth and finish. Following vintage Dry cherry and herb flavors predominate. was disappointing.

Really enjoying this tasty, dry sipper. I haven't had many Riojas but this is the first one I actually like. Good stuff!
