Dried and jammy red berries. Sweet, sour, and salty on the nose. Sweet spices, coconut, vanilla. Quite traditional. Low to medium minus acid.

Classic hallmarks of rioja, with a streak of bright red fruit on the palate that fades into earthy leather. Not the best rioja in the world, but a good representation that shows off what the region is known for.

Deep, perfumed, soft but persistent tannins, bright cherry acidity. Really enjoying this!

100% Tempranillo, rich Ruby with black fruit and sweet spicy and floral aromas. Dried red fruits shows cherry and berries with some oak notes. The finish is well balanced with earthy mineral tones, soft tannins lingering to an elegant ending.

Some earthy, fungal notes not all will appreciate. On the positive side, it has pleasant mossy, woody notes. Sips have full texture/mouthfeel. The bouquet is only slight spicy. Overall it’s a delightful wine that hits all the right rioja and Tempranillo notes. It’s a good accompaniment that won’t overpower or compete with other dishes. I enjoyed it with beans and pork tenderloin and would have again with most any other dish.
