The more I discover the region the more I love the wines, this blend of Carignan and Grenache has a beautiful color, the nose is spicy and tempting with notes of canola, spices, mint, cedar, full body round, with sweet tannins pleasant acidity and a long smooth finish. Great pleasure and wine. My score 89, drink to 2026.

On the nose: strawberry, raspberry, star anise (so strong), faint mint, and faint orange. Very aromatic, maybe a tad bit overpowering actually. Soft texture and well rounded. Medium tannins, but it's so velvety it's gone almost instantaneously. Really interesting wine, would love to pair with food next time!

After the delicious 2012, I wanted to try another year. This is the next year. Cooling it a bit to 18 degrees and the kick is back again! Great wine, like a dense beaujolais.
