Very pretty aromas - rose, some leather, anise.
Textbook cherry / red berries, a bit minty, velvety. — 2 years ago
Lot of lemon curd and almond (from the falanghina) and good salinity (from the biancolella). Really acidic and mineral wine - def not for everyone. Long finish with an almost zesty finish. — 2 years ago
Lemon/lime and green apple in your face. Very tart and refreshing on first taste - didn't feel crisp after a while though.
Strong minerality with a lot of salinity. Was not expecting this from a sauv blanc. — 3 years ago
Nose: strawberry (like jammy/perfumey), hints of vanilla, and then with some time, opens up to a lot of perfume (caught me off guard).
Classic cherry and raspberry on the palate. Very easy to pop and pour, light acidity is very forgiving and it's an easy sipper. I liked this the first 30-60 mins and then over time, it started adding structure and more tannin which I didn't actually like as much.
I think this is a wine that's very fresh and you drink it for what it is within the first 1-2 hrs of opening.
The finish becomes a little weak and watery and it flattens out and loses its acidity. — 2 years ago
On the nose: strawberry, raspberry, star anise (so strong), faint mint, and faint orange. Very aromatic, maybe a tad bit overpowering actually.
Soft texture and well rounded. Medium tannins, but it's so velvety it's gone almost instantaneously.
Really interesting wine, would love to pair with food next time! — 2 years ago
Beautiful, rich, ruby color.
Full bodied and rich/creamy wine. Well rounded - a bit of freshness and a lot of ripe, dark fruits. Medium+ acidity that went well with meat. — 3 years ago
Pop and pour at a restaurant over 3 hrs. So approachable and easy to drink considering it was a 2017 (drinking in 2022). Very rounded and a bit velvety, although had good minerality.
At first, very floral aromas more fruit forward, lots of cherry.
Over time, more classic rose and tar aromas and anise. Violets.
Taste became more earthy rather than fruity. Pretty good minerality too which was interesting. — 2 years ago
Melon with maybe a touch of grapefruit on the finish?
Awesome minerality. Salty lemon. — 2 years ago
Well rounded mouth feel, smooth, a bit bold. Even with all this, still had good minerality at the end making it a very pleasing sipper; low ish acidity so it wasn't too refreshing, but still a good food wine.
Paired with white asparagus. — 3 years ago

On the nose - flowery and lots of blackberries/strawberries.
On the palette - blackberries, sour cherry, and stone/gravel. Somewhat earthy, but not funky.
I was surprised at the tannin (med+) and has good acidity. Would go well with food.
Reminds me of a Beaujolais, but less of that jammy character and more minerality. Longer finish too. Decently complex and interesting wine. — 2 years ago
