From my current I-have-a-crush-on-you wine area: Canary Islands. Rounded but core of that volcanic minerality, w enough tang & depth to catapult it past a simple white rioja but short of a complex burgundy. Try the red too. & in the sweet spot of 16-18$.

Such a lovely island wine. Ripe citrus, orange blossom, and loads of briny/mineral goodness. This is good!!

Mineral, salty, refreshing. Spot on with fried okra, curried goat, oxtail & crab Rangoon, and a touch of scotch bonnet sauce.

Melon on the nose, super clean mineral finish. Delightful

Organic, in French oak. Salty lemon!
