Reliably fun and interesting especially to enjoy with the uninitiated. Preferably with some photos of the black lava rock craters cradling each vine in the moonscape-like vineyards. How low those yields must be! The epitome of a coastal white, saline and mineral citrus.

New Years part 1: Enough minerality to stop a tank, or in this case, baked brie w rosemary & fig, melon/prosciutto/basil etc

Aromas of citrus with a cool, musky note. Zippy, zippy, zippy acid, with loads of, yes, citrus, but also a touch of melon. A very long, minerally finish. Beautiful Malvasia fruit, grown in volcanic soil, I want to go there someday.

Golden fruit melting into warm, ashen minerality. Acidity for days. Sleek, super fine, stunning

dry, mineral, stone, fruit, & floral well-balanced to complement the most delicate of aromas & flavors in seafood, vegetables, & poultry.

This is much better. Lanzarote Malvasía in its driest and most exciting form. A real Atlantic wine; great acidity, freshness and tension, with pretty good concentration. A cross between Picpoul and Muscadet (had it been grown much further south).

Rich wine with nose of candied citrus. Nice rounded acidity balances by minerality. Falls flat quickly though.

Deliciously funky, briny, and crisp. Yellow apples, chalky minerals and salty almonds.
