Deep Ruby with ripe black fruit nose. On the palate juicy cherry and jammy blackberry flavors with notes of sweet cacao and herb pepper spice. Fine ripe tannins, lively acidity on easy drinking medium finish ending with tangy spice notes.

Starts with a rich, flamboyant perfume of kirsch and black raspberry, petrichor, rocks and loam, and peach skin... an awfully big gun to be waiving around with no bullets. The palate is a step or two behind, with no real delineation or layers and a slightly abrasive mouthfeel. It's rich and juicy and lots will enjoy, especially for under $15, but the nose outkicked its coverage.
