Nose has cut fresh cherries, blackberries, dried cherries, prunes, old oak bark, black pepper and cherry concentrate.

Palate has dried cherry, dried blackberry, cloves, cured meats, bitter chocolate, vine bark and subtle/dry tannins.

Best when paired to food, ok alone. Decanted 90m, more time appreciated.

We were looking for an uncomplicated wine tonight to accompany our homemade pizza. A recent bottle purchase, already with 10-years of age, $17 was a good value in my book.

Feeling a little bit less than fresh here, with some dried fruit and well-loved leather

Paired nicely with local wild mushroom pizza. Inky red, highly extracted pigment, too dense to assess clarity. Black currant, herb, eucalyptus and maybe violet notes in nose. Black currant tartness and flavor with length, eucalyptus in mouth, soft mouthfeel. Slight seed bitterness, minimal skin tannins left. A pleasure to drink, an interesting exhibition of Tempranillo’s varietal character

Solid. Predictable. Perhaps a recipe but hits the spot. In a good place at 10.

Way better than I ever suspected. Has an earthy, briar-like nose. Intense tobacco and vanilla. Medium bodied, very smooth, lots of grace. Blackberries are dominate, hints of licorice.

Smell that coconut? Can you taste it? Tons of new American oak.

Todavía muy reducido, pero con una evolución fenomenal, vino para sentarse y disfrutar.
