This smells like a schiava - full of slate and unripe berry.

Light bodied with unripe fruit, mint stalk, grape skin tannins. Slightly inky in a summer fun way - this could use a moment in the fridge, as its coolness brings out the expressiveness of this wine.

Dark and robust currant, peppercorn, and spicy blackberry. Chewy tannins and dusty leather with a note of eucalyptus. Very fun!

Although traditionally used as a blending grape. This single vineyard was quite good. Blueberry and toasted vanilla.

v15. This is good! Mocha, crushed cherries and smoked meat nose. Juicy black fruit and raspberry medley. Smooth, bright, long, chocolate and black pepper finish. Would pair well with many foods, first thought was spicy pasta!

Wonderful Single Vineyard Petite Verdot From Uruguay! Amazing, as this wine is rugged but elegant at the same time. Blueberry/Boysenberry aromas and flavors with notes of vanilla, iodine, earth and bramble. Just a touch of spice on the beautiful finish. Dusty tannins. I was expecting a bigger and bolder expression of the varietal. Very Old World in style. Outstanding!! Love this producer. Thanks Kase! Revisited in September 2021. Simply excellent! Revisited again in December 2022. Wine continues to evolve. Black olives are now present.
