Violet laced prune juice of a nose,
Blackberry jam, cassis , violet, blood orange pith, medium bodied with a tangy zing to bring up the rear. Long finish, with tannins - front and flanking.
Love Tannat from Uruguay. South America has such spectacular vines.

Dark ruby/purple color. Red and black fruit aromas with hints of violets and cloves. The palate is more black fruit focused with additional hints of black licorice and a bit of pepper spice. Nice touch of vanilla on the long finish. Full bodied but austere. Creamy texture, well balanced and well integrated silky tannins. The best bottle from our Garzon Tannat Reserva five bottle vertical tasting.

v18. Very good! Soft smoked meat nose. Fresh black cherry and mint fruit. Bright, clean, slightly chalky finish. Nice food wine.

This inexpensive red is a go-to for me now. Robust, full flavor, deep Garnet color, lovely to enjoy with a steak or just enjoy a glass with some strong cheeses.

1 hour decant, Great with a simple steak.
Could lay down for a year (real cork), allowing he woody notes of the tannin to mellow and integrate. Good fruit, black plum and dark berry. Jumped into my basket for under $20.
