Bright beige gold. Inviting nose of underripe yellow apples and honey. Nose is confirmed on the medium-bodied palate which adds orange rind, wet stone, and firm but approachable acidity. Finish is brief and continues the palate. Excellent South American (Uruguayan) take on Albariño that's a great match for fried foods -- I had mine with KFC -- and winter white wine fare. Drink now through 2026 (but mostly now).

Punches well above its weight. Medium bodied with white peach, lime peel, sea breeze, and slate. Great structure, texture, and acid. From maritime Uruguay. Pair with ceviche.

Pretty, but a big boy (14% ABV). Seams like oak aging, but neutral. Round mouthfeel, lemon/lime, floral, hint of lees and mandarin orange finish.

Citrus. Tart grapefruit, Granny Smith apples. Slight hint of bubbles. Nice and dry with good ABV. More floral honeysuckle after the initial tightness. Paired with bolognese and used it in recipe. Good times

When I saw Albariño I thought Spain or Portugal but this is from Uruguay. 95 points at the Decanter 2017 World Wine Awards. Very pale lemon in colour. Again appley flavours with a trace of bitterness - extended skin contact? Wouldn’t give it 95 but a good refreshing well made white.
