Apr 1st, 2017Good to see some restraint starting to take hold in the wines from Argentina. Always ate the forefront, I met with the winemaker when I received this and he indeed thinks more Euro than new world in philosophy. A little more oak than I want not but this should mellow with time and perhaps integrate more. Iron, blue and blackberry, sweet, toasty oak with some violet floral nuance. Tannin is ripe and polished. Good length on the finish.

May 15th, 2015Nice. Elegant texture nice exotic spice aromas. Slightly weak on structure and depth. Just lacking a little something.

Aug 9th, 2014Excellent wine. Loaded with fruit and black licorice. Soft tannins, very drinkable now. Thanks Mortons for this "off menu" selection!
