Could be flawed. At least, something’s awkward with this bottle. Drinkable, but I’d not recommend going there. 3/5-2024

May 3rd, 2024Cherry, hay, a tiny touch of licorice and a tiny meaty note. This is an inviting nose. The palate is week made yet a tiny bit too smooth for my taste with that kind of wine. A big bright cherry note that shines through and through, some width, a tiny bit of matter, a drying tannic wall shows up in the middle, powering up a finish with sweet cherry juice and that drying layer that carresses the tongue till the end and beyond. It's surprisingly easy going for a chianti classico but it's nice. I liked it

May 18th, 2022Not bad but not compelling. Plum and black cherry, warm black tea, a touch of black licorice candy, underlying earth. A little sweet, but dry, with fine velvety black tea tannins. Light in body from good acid but heavier impact due to high alcohol, which kind of mutes all secondary flavors.
