Bevan in 30c hits the spot. Mineral driven. Surprised that we detect the faintest note of oxidation, otherwise, super - at Koh Samui, Thailand.

High toned across the board, minerality, especially in the nose, comes across with crushed shells and granulated rock. Grassy, lemon curd, grapefruit, good acidity, long and clean finish.

Exotic nose of passion fruit and pineapple. Palette is laser-focused and precise. On the mid-palette, I detect spring blossom and white-fleshed orchard fruits. A wisp of chalky minerality buffers the lifted acidity. This is drinking perfectly now, and in my mind goes toe-to-toe with Pur Sang.

POWERHOUSE Sauvignon, this is balls to the wall but completely retains SB character. Great with things like grilled swordfish, seasoned and herb stuffed grilled whole fish or a whole roast chicken. Not your typical oyster wine, but rarely Cali carries that kind of acidity anyways.

It's drinking much better than it did just 3-4 months ago . Lemony, grapefruit core, citrusy flavors are abundant . Well ingrained stone and acidity. Wish I had purchased more. Drink this right below room temperature.

This wine will taste better with a little more time. Six months . Serve this wine at 60/62°.
