A little metallic out of the gate but really opened up. Fruit has melted into tobacco and leather. Earth mineral underpinnings. Drinking well

16/20 (90/100)

Интенсивно, полно, узнаваемый Приорат - мясной, ягодный, дымный, минеральный. Очень хорошо.

Delicious and delightful. If you enjoy a red that isn’t too light or sweet, this is easy on the palate. Full of flavor without being chewy or meaty. A dance on the tastebuds!

Big berry flavors with a good amount of acidity, easy tannins

I’ve tried the 2013... which was a 9.3 though it was before I became a writer here. The ‘16 has some promise. It’s a bit heavy and acidic but has plenty of tannic backbone. I should have decanted it and let it aerate for a couple of hours.,As this later vintage ages, let’s see if it emerges to be the gem it’s older brother was! Drank with a very herbal and mid spicy veggie chile.

Very very mineralic - like biting into slatestone.
+ Jammy fruit, vanilla, coffee, tobacco
Long finish, very great, rustic introduction to priorat

Deep, rich aromas of ripe black fruit and spice. Great structure and balance. Boozy and big with good acidity to bring it all home. $23
