Cherry and dark fruit notes. Raspberries. Cola. All spice. Lacks secondary flavors of interest. An ok drinking wine. Why would this be a reserve? I am disappointed.

Tart upfront. Smooth finish. Lovely with chicken parm on a stormy night.

2018 vintage. Beef, barnyard lite, rhubarb and room-temp bread dipped in olive oil in the nose. Light-bodied. Rhubarb and mushroom in the flavor profile along with raspberry, strawberry and blackberry. Drinking really nicely currently but wondering where it will wander in the next year? Will have to get another bottle to find out. First bottle from this esteemed producer and it won’t be my last.

Nice. Halfway between Central Cal and Burgundy. Lots of Black and blue fruit, but not as much as Central Cal. $36. Overpriced. Poor QPR.
