Martaeilla Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Okay so I admit I’m not a Pinot fan. But it’s because there is so much Pinot that stinks like grapefruit and sulfides. If that’s your style then move along. If you love pure Pinot Noir that smells of blue and red fruits, and spices with a smooth long finish, can be sipping or food friendly (tonight was Japanese curry rice) then @Benovia Winery is your Pinot!! This was WOTN. No decant, pop and pour delicious.

I think this captures an interesting style of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Juicy berry notes with elegant perfume and structure. It’s not the super ripe school. Yum.

I am just loving this right now. It is tasting amazingly complex and spicy. Nice fruit and notes of baking spices.

Very nice. Bright fruit and modern styling, but some earthiness and spice provide good balance.

Roger knows my taste. Dark raspberry, Pom cinnamon

Lots of fall and winter spices.
