Excellent Barolo. Bright fruit but also a lot of darkness and spice. Tongue-coating tannins on the finish, can definitely age some more.

Sweet cherry, plum, and dried tobacco. Slightly astringent acidity with softening tannins and dark cherry fruit. Medium weight with elegance more than length to be finish.

For a young Barolo, this is drinking quite nicely, fruity and refined like a premier cru Burgundy with notes of roses, black tea, lilac, fresh raspberries, bergamot, oramge peel, and to a lesser extent, tar and earth.
