Lots of character, minerals and power. Absolute a classy chardonnay, a bit severe, excellent diner wine.

These wines always blow my mind when paired correctly- sweetness of tuna belly w/ tomato relish on sweetly soaked rice nigiri- wow! There's the acid. Love it.

Oxidative, touch of citrus/marmalade on the palate. Would prefer greater oxidation, nuttiness.

Would not have guessed Chardonnay if blind. I have not researched it, but the root vegetable back end leads me to believe there's decent maceration. Powerful, mineral, stone fruit. Sweet and sour and salt all integrated.

Btl variation or failed memory or slightly oxidized btl. I remember my last btl being a lot fresher with no oxidation, while this one definitely showed some. Not in a negative way but in a controlled winemaking way. Still subtle and still great wine.
