Criterion Chablis Chardonnay

Lemon lime, crushed shells and great acid.

The color is pale gold. On the nose honey, yeast, toasted almonds, and apricots. On the palate it's a restrained acid, which hits with pear, slate and graphite. I find it's not quite balanced in the fruit, acid and wood,but certainly bland and water in the mid palate. Crisp acid, stone fruit with an astringent finish.

Slightly sweet, delicate, clean. Paired well with scallop risotto

Good Chablis. Inexpensive, mild fragrance of honey and herbs, mineralogy was good, not too acidic. Very grounded and easy to drink.

Yep it was a solid Chablis

A good Chablis is hard to beat: some good stone, citrus & tangy notes here. Finished with a slightly acidic note but also a sharp/clean experience from start to midrange. Good class!
