Please drink this with duck after being open for 30 or so minutes.

Past vintages have been reminiscent of Sangiovese, this 2012 reminds me of Nebbiolo. Spectacular with Italico's excellent food.

Took some time to open up into a beautiful wine.

A perfect autumn wine. I love me some Nerello Mascalese and this is just killer.

Burgundian cherry and strawberry fruit. Rather than chalky terroir, displays distinct volcanic notes...bbq briquettes. Not particularly complex, but a lovely, structured, well made wine

2009 vintage, drinking nicely

Liquorice, plum, and sweet spice. This 2002 nerollo mascalese is a pure and rare pleasure to drink. A developed etna Rosso with characters.

Just a hint of Orange on the nose. Quite refreshing for a warm summer night
