Benanti
Etna Bianco Carricante

Made with the local grape Carricante, pale to medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and pear with slight citrus and nutty notes. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with salty mineral nutty character. Very Nice!

Notably rounder bodied, without the striking acidity of some other etnas. Drank next to the Massican Annia and latter won a slight preference.

100% Carricante. Pale gold color with greenish highlights. Aromas of apple, lemon and white flowers with a hint of smoke. Palate notes peach, lemon and minerals. A bit of saline and smoke on the finish. Bright and well balanced but still quite delicate. Thanks to Ron B!

Very interesting white, dough-ey, smokey, but progressively fresh. Wine lover white wine, for sure.
