Medium purplish red. Dark spices on the nose, bitter cocoa, oak barrel, some animal nuances, light cherries, a touch smoky and crushed gravel. Tight on the tannins (6.5/10) not yet rounded. Complex palate yet tight as well with notes of raw twigs, bramble berries, anise, spices, dried cherries, a touch of alcohol and pepper. Long finish with definite potential to improve once the palate rounds out. Drink till 2024.

This wine defies all expectations. You take a sip and you think you understand, that is until you have another. Every essence of it is subtle yet complex in the fact that due to the subdued components, it's exceptionally balanced. Each taste gives me a new opinion. Get this for the spice, get this for the fruit, or the celery, or the oak. Just get it.

Rich berries on berries, light oak, baking spice. Delicious, flavorful, layered, great value.

Medium ruby red with some violet hues. Dark spices and fruits on the nose with a touch of earthiness and anise. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Layered on the palate with bramble berries, a touch savory, dark gravel and not overly jammy. A little bit of black pepper and packs it in mid palate. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2022.

Tasted Blind also at 9am. "Really Good zinfandel" The wine was not showing much but American oak for the first 10 minutes. Nailed the varietal eventually, acid was tricky and I think there is slight RS. Kept saying "this feels old world but the American oak and ripeness is bizarre". Lighter red fruit, not dark and heavy or anise and it has great acid. Way too young. Every Bedrock wine is great, you can't miss.
