1 person found it helpfulApr 16th, 2021This very — VERY— dry Alsatian style Riesling from 40+ year old vines is a fantastic food wine. It’s loaded with bracing acidity that is incredibly well integrated into pear, lychee, grapefruit, and minerals. Beautiful gold color with a nose full of canned peach and wet stone. I wish it wasn’t the last of my allocation, especially since Bedrock seems to have stopped producing it after the 2019 vintage.

Garden hose goodness on the nose. Zesty (lemon, lime) and beautifully structured. The bedrock boys never disappoint.

Jun 14th, 2022Best Riesling this year by far. Wonderful nose and just the right amount of crispness. Excellent.

Apr 24th, 2021The drier of the two Cole Ranch Rieslings made from the same fruit by Bedrock. This has wonderful perfumed melon and honey notes kept honest by some classic Riesling zing. Doesn’t seems as complex as some of the past vintages, but a very nice wine and could evolve a bit as this was just released.
