Excellent Syrah from Beckmen. Ballard Canyon. All their wines impress me. This is Central CA Syrah at its finest. Smooth, balanced, subtle. I should buy a case. Great value too.

Blackberry, cassis, cherry, eucalyptus, vanilla, mossy earth, oak and hints of white pepper and dark chocolate. Great structure and moderate tannins.

The epitome of Santa Ynez Syrah. Juicy, mostly darker berry, smoke, game and a beautiful structure. Love. Much bigger fan of this than their Grenache.

Dark red, strong plum nose with some coffee. Taste of plum dominates the palate with medium acid and pleasant finish. Good value

In the Nose, it reminds me of fruit roasted in warm brick oven, If that makes! Although the fruit is ripe, it is very understated. Dusty Black fruit dominated with cooking spices. Assertive tannins that work with the bold flavors. Lasting finish. Liked this wine way more than I expected.

Dense dark smoked bacon figs but lively

Thick blue fruits nicely framed by a little oak, seems cool climate, nice balance, long, lingering finish, should easily improve for 5-10 years!!
