I know there are a lot of Beau Vigne fans on here and for good reason. If you haven’t had the guest cottage, it really is special. My favorite of theirs year after year. On immediate opening, it soars and is in harmony. But but not unbalanced. Plenty of spice and backbone to support the luscious fruit.

A clear cut above the other Beau Vigne bottlings. Jam packed with beautiful fruit from @Martin G Rivard

Holding up very well, but I guess this won’t continue to improve. Tannins present as dusty. Fruit profile is solid. Blueberry and cherry notes captivate. Nice oak treatment melds with moderate acidity. Such a pleasure.

Get some if you can find it,
Kirk Venge is the winemaker💪🍷even the glass bows out of respect for this wine.
Guest cottage was crafted from berries grown on the vines surrounding the actual Beau Vigne Guest cottage. The highest bench on the vineyard. Made for friends & members so sign up now for next year,

I'm floored that this is a '14. A gorgeous, young, rich, chocolate expresso and dark fruit stained glass of love. From the guy who seems to have more Beau Vigne in his cellar than Ed Snider, Mr. @Martin G Rivard

"Bad Ass in a Glass" is quite accurate here. Poured from a double magnum, this was a big wine that had people smiling and buzzing (in every sense of the word!). Globs of dark fruit, silky smooth, a touch sweet, but so well integrated.

Thank you
@Martin G Rivard and @Christine for an epic 48 hours and for opening your home last night for the Super Bowl of wine tastings (and for the four different types of grilled cheese sandwiches that magically appeared toward the end of the night!).

While the wines shared last night literally were the best of the best, so too were the folks I had the pleasure of seeing again and meeting for the first time. Thank you all for making last night so memorable. I look forward to staying in touch and sharing a glass (bottle?) with you all again in the near future.

@David L @Mike R @Ron R @Joe Lucca @Shawn R @Bill Bender @Daryl Calhoun @Ryan M @leon egozi @David Goldfinger @David From The 504 @Monica O @Ira Shapiro @Jeffrey Lew @Mo Salem @"Odedi" @Kirk Alexander @Gina Sabean (tag anyone I may have missed!). Your generosity and enthusiasm in sharing wine was greatly appreciated.

Nose suggests dark chocolate and anise. The palette provides fig and espresso notes. The finish is intense with minerality. Gorgeous wine that will age for more than a decade to come. Another note from Jennifer.
