Dark, glass-clinging red purple. Abundant and inviting nose yields blackberry, cassis, and birch. Full palate gives up blackberry cobbler and patent leather wrapped in firm, dusty tannins (decanting recommended). Medium acidity. Lengthy dark finish. A great intro to Bolgheri in this blend of the Cabernets. Serve with hearty meat dishes. Drink now through 2025.

Earth, tar, and black fruits on the nose. Dark fruits, and earth on the dry palate, medium + well integrated tannins. Long finish filled with plum and black cherry.

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits. The palate reveals blackberry, blueberry and currants with notes of tobacco and cacao with some pepper spice. The wine is reasonably balanced with acidity and tannins, a bit grainy. The finish shows some smoke and is medium in length.

Classic Bolgheri terroir comes through in the bright, fresh, floral and savory side of Cabernet Franc, while deeper, red and blackberry fruit notes, mocha and spice are brought on by the Cabernet Sauvignon.
70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc from Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast. Aged for 1 year in new and used French oak.
The medium to full-bodied palate is racy, with vivid, juicy blackberry and bing cherry, excellent acidity and firm, but fine, tannin. A long finish extends the fruit and spice on the palate. This is a little more accessible and a touch pusher than the more serious Tam.

Very smooth and supple on the palate with soft fruit and a good bit of oak and vanilla. Nice acidity rounds out the mouth with a touch of red candy and flower pedals. More elegance and less power than I was expecting, but that's not a bad thing!

Opened this bottle in battle against a Yakima Valley Mystique by Sheridan Vineyards. Smells like it is going to be woodsy then tastes dry and stone fruity.

Wish I bought more back when I got this bottle. I would guess this still has a few more years of peak condition in front of it.
