This would be a good afternoon first bottle happy hour OR pasta evening.

True to type and really well made. Herbal, aromatic and long, with fine tannins. Great with with veal chops.

Black cherry, blackberry, pepper and bell pepper. Well balanced tannins and acidity.

Black cherry skins, bleeding plums, green cocoa beans, banana peppers, and rich potting soil upfront. Firm tannic structure that’s lifted by fresh acidity. Fantastic earthy tonalities underneath everything. Delicious.

Wine klurb: “good attack”... more like “super smoky and tobacco”. High alcohol. Mild fruitiness. Light tannin. Prob better with food than sitting on back porch without food during a pandemic.
