Baron de Ley
Varietales Rioja Garnacha
Dark Ruby red color with aromas of fruit, spices and sweet floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cacao, toasty vanilla and black pepper. Firm tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, toasty spice and herb mineral character. Drink now!

Mar 7th, 2024Delicious. Nice alternative version of the typical Tempranillo from this region. The Grenache tastes really smooth, no bitter, no excessive tannins. Good wine.

Oct 27th, 2018Probably the best ganache I’ve ever tried. Ridiculous for this price $13.

Dec 12th, 2023Dark Cherry, herbal and asphalt aromas. Dark cherry, leather and blackberry flavors. Extremely soft tannins. Revisited this wine in October. Very fruit dominated. Hints of raisins on the finish. Just an excellent Garnacha! Thanks Ron! Revisited again in March 2022. Aging beautifully!

Jun 8th, 2019V12. " leather portfolio " like bouquet. Rich cherry, blackberry and tar fruit with mocha highlights. Chewy leather and a slight chalky finish. Really nice wine.
