Plum covered in licorice. A good dry wine that is wet and smooth on the tongue. Having with butternut squash soup and a honey goat cheese sandwich. A good pairing! 13% ABV

Dec 19th, 2021Deep ruby. Aromas of baking spices, cocoa, raspberry, and blackberry. Med/high acidity, soft tannin, black peppercorn, more red fruit (strawberry) on the palate. Some nice warm soul terroir. Very good but it’s missing something essential to really pull it together.

Feb 6th, 2021Dark purple with hue of ruby, cloudy. Nose of cocoa, vinegar, strawberry, aldehyde, spicy in the nasal cavity, quite powerful, and more aldehyde note from ripe fruits. Taste of good acidity, nice mellow tannins, earthy mineral, sweetness from strawberry, cherry, and grapes, chewy and tasty, zest and spice, dense and flavorful. Aftertaste of some more bittersweet mineral, peppery, medium. Nicely balanced, good flavors and tasty.
