A nice cab, upfront chewy tannins, with jammy cherry, strawberry, tobacco/cigar box notes.

First sip was confusing, but the wine is delicious. I think the cab franc funk was the first impression, and it adds a layer of complexity which makes this wine more than a simple Italian cab. Great wine.

Blackberry, cassis, vanilla, eucalyptus, raspberry, oak, plum and dried sage. Great structure and moderate tannins.

Acidic for me. Had to aerate.

v19. Very good! Nice black pepper, smoked meat and tobacco nose. Fresh, luscious black fruit medley. Clean chocolate finish. Enjoyable.

We thought this was Sangiovese from outside of a recognized DOC, but I guess it’s CS/CF blend. Lots of red fruit on nose: cherry & strawberry, herbs, pepper, quite dusty early on, really needed time to unwind. Earthy, brambly, kinda gnarly, this really evolved over the night. Med weight, dried herbs and red fruit on the mid-palate w/supple tannins leading to modest finish. Interesting, definitely showing some maturity, but unusual given the varietal composition.
