Marco Bacci purchased the property in 1997 which is located in the southeast of Montalcino, on the southern border facing Monte Amiata. A blend of 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cab Sauv & 25% Merlot. Invetro means “in the glass” so this wine has a “glass cork” thus surrounding all the wine by glass. Berry & floral aromas with earthy notes. On the palate cherry & blackberry with a jolt of earthy spice. Fine tannins, a bit harsh, lively acidity, medium finish ending with earthy mineral. Tasting Sample.

A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of ripe red fruits with fragrant earthy notes. On the palate cherry and berry fruits with notes of spice. Fine tannins, juicy acidity on medium crisp finish ending with earthy mineral tones. Best now, Tasting Sample.

Pretty nice, everything you want in a Super Tuscan at a great value. A little old world funk on the nose, w/black cherries, a little tobacco, medium+ tannin, nice finish. Good with food.

Dark garnet purple in the glass. Abundant nose of black cherry, plum, and violets. Medium full bodied palate echoes the nose with fine, medium plus tannins and medium acidity. A fruit forward style Super Tuscan that can accompany a wide range of foods from the sublime (Filet Mignon, prime rib) to the mundane (burgers on the grill, pasta) and almost everything in between. Enjoy it with any of the above.

High acidity would pair nicely with certain Italian dishes. Ripe cherry, floral, and a bit of undergrow peek through. Nice complexity. S, Cab S, Merlot blend which doesn't disappoint but doesnt wow either. Let it breath for +45m

2013v. Medium garnet color. On the nose, a little red licorice and that bright red Flintstone vitamin smell of cherry and iron that I associate with sangiovese. On the palette, there's really ripe and tart red cherry, lingering acidity that isn't over the top, and youthful medium tannins that cling to the walls of your mouth. Definitely not the complexity of aged chianti, but this affordable and balanced super Tuscan could be the house red at any reasonable restaurant or your weeknight bottle. 14% ABV.

Has all the right flavor components; tobacco, cherry, plum and floral notes, but the finish seems fatty. Though seems to be drying out over time. All in all plush and full of super Tuscan character and certainly a bargain.

Interesting glass cork suggests the name of this wine meaning surrounded by glass in Italian. Pretty good value #supertuscan offering - the distinctive #toscana earthy, spicy fruit from the #sangiovese dominant blend. I enjoyed the robust acidity on the finish with fine tannins.
