Barnyard funk, wet mushroom, rustic leather, tar dried cherries. VA in is there too. Mouth feels is fresh, smooth, and balanced . Red berry fruit. Tannins hang in there. Pair with fatty meats. Classic Italian style. Drink now with short decant.

More elegant & aromatic than the 2005. The fruit seems brighter, and the tannins are quite pronounced. Great producer.
