Case Via Toscana Pinot Nero
The 2020 is drinking lovely. Aroma of licorice, dark fruit , slate, grapefruit on palate firm tanins , enjoyable but will age well.

Funny how low everyone is rating this. #robertparker gave it a 94. Firstly it in no way resembles any #pinotnoir I have ever had so either the nursery sold them something saying was Pinot or they just cold soaked the hell out of it and lost all typicity. Maybe blended with Sangio? Dunno. #tuscany #italy nice texture

Jul 25th, 2020Tried this a year ago and needed to taste again. Not much different. First a little pricey, resembles a Pinot Noir but falls short. Not impressive, just ok, I would pass, not worth the cost.

Oct 6th, 2022It would never guess this was Pinot noir. Very structured, dusty tannins.
