One of my favorites of the night. Value is banging on this red fruited old school cab with a smidge of flash. A wine for the long haul, drinking incredibly young and coiled, but one can start to unfurl it slowly now.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark purple color. Fruit forward aromas of black currant, blackberry, violets and graphite. Pallet features dark fruit, baking spices, bakers chocolate and that ever present graphite. Rich and luxurious. Tannins are nicely integrated with just enough acidity. Fruit was restrained. Very Left Bank “Bordeaux-like” Red. Best with food.

Inviting nose of cassis, black plum, cedar, cinnamon, dark chocolate, and hint of eucalyptus. The palate is where it really shines. Warm, gentle, and velvety but with a firm acidic backbone. Great depth of flavors and fruit density. The light dark chocolate-like bitterness on the mid palate gives away to the ripe sweet tannins for a lingering finish.
