A very approachable Vin Nobile from a great vintage: layers of dark fruits, forest floor, a menthol edge; medium plus acidity & solidly medium bodied. For 20$ quite a deal, though I imagine a few years more might add some complexity.

Drinking very well, focused, supple and quite dry. Dried cherry, licorice, mint, forest floor notes with the tannins still providing traction and a nice wave of acidity to finish. Seemingly at peak. Great with pizza.
