A very approachable Vin Nobile from a great vintage: layers of dark fruits, forest floor, a menthol edge; medium plus acidity & solidly medium bodied. For 20$ quite a deal, though I imagine a few years more might add some complexity.

Drinking very well, focused, supple and quite dry. Dried cherry, licorice, mint, forest floor notes with the tannins still providing traction and a nice wave of acidity to finish. Seemingly at peak. Great with pizza.

Цвет вишнёвый, зрелый. В аромате варенье из чёрных ягод и слив, морённое дерево, мокко. Пряно (сушенный тимьян, розмарин), сладковато, с щедрой порцией дуба и лёгкими тонами окисления. Среднетелое, во вкусе сушенные чёрные ягоды с сахаром, лавр, грубая кожа, глина. Сушащие танины, средний уровень кислотности. Долгое тёплое послевкусие с лёгкой горчинкой. Большое, начинающее идти на спад вино. 16,5/20

Agree with all the comments....drinks above it's price-point, fruit forward with a solid backbone of oak. Inline tannins. My only complaint would be that I personally prefer a truer old world style for Vino Nobile. Particularly from such a rooted producer.

Punching above its weight class. A $25 wine that drinks like a $40 :) tannin, cherry, it should come with every pizza.
