A real bargain for $25. Light Ruby with aromas of red fruit and gentle perfume spice. On the palate strawberry and cranberry with tea and baking spices on a smooth tannin structure. Fresh finish with a medium length ending. Solid value, the fruit should calm down a bit in a year or so.

On with ABC. Five year old chard this time. Not as crisp as it’s younger counterparts and aging a little better than expected. There’s exuberant pineapple on the nose, palate, and finish, somehow it works… Not overpowering but refreshing, like pineapple shaved iced from childhood… High acidity, medium alcohol, slightly oaky and beginning to show sings of integration. Cheers.

Pale gold. Nose sweet lemon peel, crisp green pear, fresh wet grass, saline. Taste: entry is med bodied with good mouthfeel and subtle sweetness, acidity climbs in mid palate of lime and sour apple with tart freshness, end is minerality and a softening of the acidity into a round smooth finish.
